Mens medium or large waterproof coats, trousers, hats , gloves , scarves and socks will be in great demand Also sleeping bags are always needed. Carol Singing – Update & Thank You!

Yesterday (18 December) a small but perfectly formed group of singers raised £83.45p donated by the good folk of Llanfairfechan. Thank you Ellie, Eileen and Rosa for singing in the face of extreme wind and Thank you to the Co-op for welcoming us to sing in or out outside their new shop. And of course a BIG THANK YOU to the good people of Llanfairfechan for their generosity. The money raised will go towards an emergency fund administered by the Bangor Cathedral Partnership who help people who live on the streets and have no permanent place to stay.

Another well put together group of singers raised a grand Total of £166.89p by singing carols in the rain and wind in Bangor High Street today (19 December). Well done Simon, Eileen, Penny, Tony and Ruth and of course the great attractions and chief fundraisers – Dylan and Sean who added the essential canine ingredient to the afternoon. This money will also go to the Cathedral Partnership fund to support local homeless people. Thank you to the kind people of Bangor for your generous support.

Fri. 19/2/16: The Cold Concert!!

Come to the Cathedral for an evening of live entertainment from local musicians and performers to raise money for the homeless in the Bangor area. Pay as you feel. No tickets – donations only – but bring lots of cash – they are worth it!!

This time of year the Cathedral is hard to keep warm – especially in the evening so wrap up well, bring a cushion and a blanket and sit in solidarity with the people who have to sleep out in all weathers – all night – not just for a coupe of hours.

Sat. 19/12/15: 12pm – 2pm outside Bangor Cathedral

Come and sing some carols with us.We’ll be singing some familiar and not so familiar Carols in Welsh and English. You don’t have to have a ‘good’ voice or even be able to ‘hold a tune’ – enthusiasm is all that is required!! Bring an instrument! Clap!! Help us raise money for the Cathedral Partnership wo support people without homes in the Bangor area.
